Kerem is a Seelie Nocker Grump and regular at The Fool's Gambit Freehold in Boston.
Overview[]
Kerem can invariably be found sitting by the fireplace carving a piece of wood. If he deigns to acknowledge the presence of another person (a rare occurrence) he will simply bark "What'd you want?" Grunting under his breath he will return to carving. No one knows how old he is. His skin folds around his face like a blanket and he grumbles about the past when things were simpler. He tells the story of the first festival, implying he was alive back then, but no one has yet proved the veracity of this. He did fight in the Accordance War, though, and is considered somewhat of a hero among the younger Kithain. He is overprotective of Margaret and threatens anyone who would harm her.
Personal[]
Kerem loves telling stories and is certain no one has heard any of them before. He never admits he's wrong and scowls frequently, even when pleased. His hands are always busy; either carving or fiddling with wood.

The old man no longer ventures out of The Fool's Gambit. He is always seen rocking in his chair, working on another carving. His skin is creased with innumerable folds and he wears a permanent scowl. His white hair hangs down in his eyes and his long white beard is usually filled with crumbs.
