  • A blinding light struck every mage in the Swath. Back in their bodies, they suffered strange burns and spent days in the throes of an inexplicable nausea. When they returned, the Swath had grown again, its parts strangely melted and fused in places. From that moment on, it was possible to ascend from the Swath to the Dreaming Earth.
