Jennie Orne is one of the Imbued and a user on hunter-net, where she posts as Cassie247. She is a recent college graduate who now runs a coffeeshop in Seattle, Washington. She studied political science and history. Her coffeeshop is owned by her parents, but under her hand has become a safe place for hunters to meet and talk.
She is a Visionary with long-term plans for a post-vampire world. Based on her studies, she recommends that hunters use guerrilla tactics to wear down the much stronger supernatural forces of the world. She anticipates that as they weaken the Hunters will have the opportunity to unseat them from power. However, the rots and other powers have been running human society for so long that society will crumble and the Imbued will be tasked with taking power. She recommends that a dictatorship led by a Herald-inspired leader be put in power.
Jennie is charismatic and manipulative; she believes that many of the Imbued are cannon fodder for the visionaries and leaders. She focuses on talking to these people and convincing them of her ideas. Many of her posts discuss how to navigate conversations with different kinds of Imbued and how to convince them to work together or toward your own goals.
Of late, Jennie's coffeeshop was blown up by a Wayward hunter.[1]
Controversies[]
Although seemingly knowledgeable and influential, at least one poster has claimed that Jennie is neither of those things. The poster (who claims to know her personally) says that Jennie has no field experience and only knows a few hunters who they introduce her too. Jennie is not known to have participated in any missions herself.
