  • Inspector Brian Chu of the Vancouver RCMP, Officer Ma Sik Yu of the Hong Kong Triad Society Bureau, Officer Georgina M. Shrubbe of Interpol, Officer Bernard ter Haar and Officer Laurence Posner are involved in a discussion of various triads and various methods they've used to combat them. The discussion is shut down by "Operator W1" who later wonders with a lurker using the handle "nereid@directive" whether the triads picked up on it. Nereid confirms that at least two triad operatives were present.
