Isaac Brooke is an Anarch Tzimisce who operates in the Bronx borough of New York. He and his coterie have domain over the neighborhood of Port Morris.
Biography[]
Isaac by all accounts did not have an easy upbringing: he didn't even finish high school, and used to run with a street-racing crew known as the Midnighters before the Embrace. He does however maintain a very respectful relationship with his sire Václav, periodically visiting the ancilla at his haven on North Brother Island. It was Václav who granted Isaac a haven of his own - a run-down brownstone in Port Morris - unintentionally earning the ire of Richter, a Brujah Anarch and crime boss who claims the South Bronx as his territory.
As a consequence of this, Isaac was paired with several other fledglings in an ad-hoc coterie in order to prove their worth to Richter. Their first task was to collect "rent" from a Caitiff named Drexler, who as it turned out was also in serious debt with the Puttanesca crime family. During a fight against a group of Puttanesca ghouls at Drexler's taxi company, Isaac recovered a briefcase containing hard-copies of the now-defunct SchreckNet network. Drexler had apparently hired the Puttanesca to steal the drives for him, only to bilk them out of their agreed-upon payment. Isaac was also the one to personally collect on Drexler's debt to Richter, severing one of the Orphan's hands with his feral claws and delivering it back to the Brujah in a plastic bag.
After being formally granted their "turf" by Richter, Isaac and his coterie would encounter the Anarch revolutionary Annabelle Li while pursuing rumors of a strange van that had been loitering after dark in Port Morris. While in conversation with Annabelle, Isaac - in the throes of his clan compulsion - would steal a wooden stake from the Brujah's possession. A former piece of a larger wooden crucifix, this stake was actually a shard of the improvised weapon which had ended the life of the Leopoldite Inquisitor Adrian Clairmont.
While tracking down the whereabouts of a Wight preying on the homeless of the neighborhood, Isaac would meet and enter into an arrangement with the Hecata necromantrix Cat Costello. In return for deflecting the attentions of the Puttanesca (who his coterie had earned the attention of by rescuing Drexler), Isaac would help Cat retrieve the skull of a ship captain who perished centuries ago in the East River. Isaac would eventually track the whereabouts of the skull to a Camarilla-owned warehouse just off the riverfront, in the process injuring and intimidating one Nigel - a Ventrue whom had been sent to oversee the property by his clanmate James Rafferty.
Later on, the Port Morris coterie would finally corner the rampaging Wight, with Isaac using Annabelle's stake to paralyze the creature before cutting off it's head with a Vicissitude-crafted bone blade.
