Ikraam al-Biruni is one of the Assamite Sorcerers that were forced to side with the Sabbat following the Clan Schism.

Biography[]

Originally Embraced because of his progress as a linguist, Ikraam preferred to stay away from the politics of Alamut, instead immersing himself in his studies. When Ur-Shulgi arose, Ikraam was forced to flee Alamut, as he refused to renounce Allah in favor of the harsh tenets of the Path of Blood. Ikraam fled to the Americas, hoping to find shelter within the Sabbat. Once he had joined the Assamite antitribu, he found out how much the so-called Angels of Caine had forgotten from their true heritage, especially since the older ones had rejoined their Clan under Ur-Shulgi. He settled in Mexico City, making a deal with the Lasombra Caridad de Flores, who supported him with kalif (a vitae-laced drug used in Dur-An-Ki) in exchange for service. Disdaining his antitribu fellows and the unsophisticated ways of the Sabbat, he hopes to leave as soon as he can.
