Hypertech is a catch-all term for any Wonder or Apparatus that requires an understanding of Enlightened Science to create and maintain. Hypertech items are generally too advanced to be Coincidental, but still have a place on the Time Table.
The term typically does not apply to the erratic and anachronistic Weird Science of the Sons of Ether, but other non-Union technomancers like the Virtual Adepts or Go Kamisori Gama may or may not "qualify" as Hypertech on a case-by-case basis.
