Huitzilopochtli is the Aztec god of war and the sun, and a member of the Atzlánti pantheon.
Overview[]
Huitzilopochtli has a colorful appearance: his face is black, his left leg is covered in red and yellow feathers, and the rest of his body is adorned with blue tattoos. He's fond of adorning himself with gold, especially earrings. He is famous for defeating the Four Hundred Southerners wearing cotton armor and wielding spears tipped with eagle's down and a shield made of reeds. While all the Atzlánti crave blood sacrifices, Huitzilopochtli particularly loves the blood of dishonored warriors, and he inspired the Aztecs to war in order to get it.
In the modern World, Huitzilopochtli continues to find warlike occupations such as a mercenary or contract killer. Even in human guise, he has a cold, brusque demeanor that barely hides his simmering rage. His Scions tend to be similarly intimidating: no matter their occupations or lifestyles, they carry their father's terrible temper just below the surface. These Scions are best used as blunt instruments, rather than expecting any kind of finesse or subtlety out of them.
