The Harvest Carnival is a domain ruled by the spirit of a carnival ride called the King's Crown, also referred to as the Showman.[1]
Overview[]
An example of a feudal court domain, the Harvest Carnival awakes when the King's Crown does, at the end of October, sending fun- and gluttony-spirits out into town to draw them in.[1] The spirits numb the mortal attendees to all but their enjoyment, even as they take one individual as a sacrifice to the Showman, stealing him or her away into the Shadow.[1][2]
