The Hartford Chantry is a Tremere Chantry from Hartford, United States. Initially known as the Gemini League, they rose as a coalition of influential vampires and an opposing force of the British Camarilla and Sabbat in their New England Wars.
History[]
While New England certainly isn't lacking in vampire strongholds, the Hartford Chantry is the most famous Tremere haven. A direct rival to the Salem Chantry, Hartford has held its own for several centuries, during which it was subject to infighting, enemy attacks, and turf wars. Its influence, which fluctuated over the years, greatly increased under the reign of John Reiss, who led the domain until 2014. His successor, Deneb Osborne, seems intent on maintaining this same momentum in the years to come, as demonstrated by the recent détente between Hartford and Boston.
After the events of the Unification Party, the coven believed they had been betrayed by the Boston Camarilla but the Toreador Emem Louis was able to reestablish their alliance. During the slaughter at the Party, the coven lost three-quarters of its people.
