Harlan Ellison was an author, best known for his science fiction. He wrote some books for White Wolf under the Borealis and Borealis Legends imprints.
White Wolf Magazine Controversy[]
Chris W. McCubbin, writer of the Beyond the Parents' Basement articles in White Wolf Magazine and Inphobia, wrote an article in White Wolf Inphobia #50 (Dec. 1994) with digs at Harlan Ellison's writing. This led to an angry response from Harlan Ellison to Chris and Chris responding back in kind (White Wolf Inphobia #52 and White Wolf Inphobia #53). This led to White Wolf settling the disagreement by making a deal with Harlan Ellison and publishing his works through the Borealis/Borealis Legends imprints starting with Jokes Without Punchlines.
