Guidance is what the Begotten call the touch of the Dark Mother. While She rarely intercedes with flashy miracles, when a Beast is in dire straits, they may feel Her love, granting them renewed focus and, often, a key (and perhaps life-saving) insight. Guidance is a truly religious experience for most Begotten, and afterwards they typically retreat to their Lair for a short time to process what they felt.
A Beast can seek out Guidance, but only when they are truly desparate -- in mechanical terms, when they have depleted all Willpower. Guidance is also more likely to come at lower Satiety, as the Beast feels their Horror's presence more acutely. Of course, Guidance may also come un-asked-for and unexpected, as the Dark Mother works Her will on Her Children.
A Beast who has experienced Guidance may choose to pursue the bond with the Dark Mother further, becoming an Obcasus Initiate.
System: a Beast who experiences Guidance replenishes all their Willpower. They also receive a message from the Dark Mother, though it may be cryptic or confusing. Afterwards, the Beast is unable to replenish Willpower by any other means until they have spent a number of hours in the Heart of their Lair equal to their Satiety at the time of the event. This gives them time to meditate on the experience, and perhaps learn from it.
