Guardian is one of the Purviews available to Scions, associated with powers of protection. Gods associated with this Purview include Anubis, Baldur, Britannia, the Citizen, Columbia, the Dagda, d'Artagnan, Danu, Erzulie, Guan Yu, Hachiman, Heimdall, Huang Di, Huitzilopochtli, Isis, Lakshmi, Lugh, Marianne, Miclántecuhtli, Nuada, Ogma, Parvati, Quetzalcoátl, Raiden, Set, Sraosha, Thor, Tishtrya, Uncle Sam, Vishnu, and Xipe Totec.

Powers[]

  • Vigil Brand ( ) - the Scion can designate an individual, place or object as under their protection.[1]
  • Warning Line ( ) - the Scion can trace a line on the ground to alert them to the presence of a specific creature.[2]
  • Aegis ( ) - the Scion imparts the target with a measure of supernatural protection.[1]
  • Ward ( ) - the Scion can bar a certain category of creatures from entering a location.[1]
  • Unseen Shield ( ) - the Scion projects an invisible barrier around themself.[3]
  • Come Running ( ) - the Scion can teleport to the location of someone or something carrying their Vigil Brand.[3]
  • I Say Thee Nay ( ) - the Scion commits to the unwavering defense of a mortal, helpless supernatural, or location.[4]
  • Confer Knack ( ) - the Scion can grant a mortal one of their Epic Stamina Knacks.[3]
  • Watcher at the Threshold ( ) - the Scion can teleport to a portal bearing their Vigil Brand when someone else tries to use it.[2]
  • Confer Immunity ( ) - the Scion can grant certain protective boons (Chaos , Darkness , Fire , Earth , Water , Sky ) to a mortal carrying their Vigil Brand.[3]
  • Appropriated Vigil ( ) - the Scion can monitor the subjects of Vigil Brands other than those they laid personally.[5]
  • Divine Resolve ( ) - the Scion can help others resist temptation or coercion.[5]
  • Salvation Sacrifice ( ) - the Scion can redirect damaging attacks on someone or something with their Vigil Brand to themself.[5]
  • Avatar of the Guardian - the Scion becomes The Sentinel, able to resist anything but unable to attack.[5]
