The Grand Court was a vampire feudal institution during the Dark Ages and the War of Princes. It was an alliance of powerful Ventrue and Toreador from Paris.
History[]
Around 508, King Clovis established the seat of the Frankish kingdom in Paris. Alexander also founded his Great Court there, surrounding himself with some of the most influential Cainites in this part of Western Europe, over whom he reigned supreme. Paris remained the dynasty's capital only episodically, mainly due to divisions in the kingdom between the various Frankish heirs, and it wasn't until the early 10th century that the royal court was able to maintain more or less permanently.
