A Glamo-meter is a Level 3 Nocker Treasure.
Overview
This highly useful device looks and sounds like a Geiger counter, measuring the ambient level of Glamour or Banality in an object, reporting the object's rating on a 1-10 scale (essentially corresponding to the subject's rating in game terms). Glamo-meters are delicate instruments (parts are not forged by necessity), and they can be easily damaged in the field.
System
A player must spend a point of Glamour per scene to activate a meter, and an Intelligence + Gematria roll, difficulty 7, is required to calibrate the device properly. If one success is achieved, the meter gives readings on a subject's Glamour rating to within a one-point accuracy. Two successes are required to measure Banality in a subject within one point.
