Gladius ("Standing Jaws") is the intermediary form of Rokea. A powerful war form that incites weak delirium.
Overview[]
On average, ten feet tall, wickedly sharp talons, a strong bite – on the whole, much like Fighting Jaws but bipedal. One important difference, though. When in Squamus form or Chasmus form, their eyes roll back when they bite, so they can't see what they're biting. In Gladius though, their eyes are positioned just close enough that they can judge distance to their prey and keep them in line of sight until the bite. This form loses its tail if the shapeshifter spends too much time in dry land, but it can be regrown once again at will. The skin of a Gladius is also a weapon. They are covered in shagreen and this form gets them even tougher.
