Frank Weisshadel is a typical Tremere looking for ways to become a more powerful wizard.
Biography[]
Frank grew up in a normal family. Or at least he thought it was until he found out that his father was actually an Awakened wizard. Few could make such a claim, but in this case it is true. For years Frank wanted to be a wizard like his father. He knew there were a network of underground sorcerers, everywhere. He also knew that the world was full of wonders unknown to the likes of common man.
Frank studied in secret, wishing to emulate his father and hoping that he would take Frank on as an apprentice. When time dragged on and his father did not approach him, Frank confronted him when he was 17 and demanded to be taught magick. His father refused. Papa Weisshadel tried to explain to Frank why but Frank would not listen. Papa Weisshadel told him that he had gotten into big trouble and meddled in things that he should not have had. He did not want to pass his mistakes to his son and did not want the temptation of power and evil invade the heart of his only son. Frank was furious. He believed magick was his birthright.
He was certain that he had the power in his blood just like his father. He was so sure of himself and that he could wield the powerful spells just like his father. He wanted to stand tall among the secret community that ruled the world. Frank was severely wrong but would not know it for years to come. Frank would leave home at 23 and go out into the world and discovered as much as a mortal could about vampires, wraiths, werewolves, and other mythical creatures. When he was home, he bitterly argued with his father. Finally, Frank searched out the Tremere, demanding that they make him a wizard. Instead they made him a vampire.
The Tremere knew Frank did not have the commitment to being a true wizard, but he was strong, energetic, young and stupid enough to be loyal to them. The Tremere sent him all over the Europe and used him for dirty jobs. When Frank showed his father what a glorious creature he had become, his father tried to destroy his own son. In the end, Papa Weisshadel could not do it and this drove Frank into an uncontrollable Frenzy resulting in his father's death. Frank now realizes that the clan will only ever use him as an errand boy. He seeks ways to become a powerful wizard and claim his birthright.
Appearance[]
A tall, thin youth with thick black hair and brown eyes, Frank cares not at all for his personal appearance. When not in the presence of important Tremere, he often wears clothes with holes and stains on them. When in the presence of important Tremere, he wears a tacky, out-of-date suit.
