The treatise "Five Pillars of Power" was pinned down by the Toreador Redondo de Vasquez during the 12th century. It describes the best way for sires to school their childer. During the Anarch Revolt and recently in the Modern Nights, his work has received high criticisms.

De Vasquez proposes to reward a childer for faithful service, but also to stoke a certain rivalry among one's childer to instigate them to maximum performance. Stubborn childer should be exposed to greater dangers to be rid of them without dirtying one's hands. If a childe braves all dangers, it should be forced into a blood bond according to this document, in order to prevent Diablerie. De Vasquez also regards the Final Death as an adequate means to solve problems with hopeless childer.
