Ellenore is a Gangrel Fledgling and the girlfriend of Annabelle Li.

Biography[]

Ellenore met Annabelle while both were participating in student activism at Griffith College. She was also part of the firebombing of a corrupt senator's campaign office, an act which unintentionally led to the circumstances of Annabelle's Embrace. Scared and confused, Annabelle shared everything about her new condition with Elle from night one, though at the time neither realized the danger this transparency posed. Upon becoming aware of the Masquerade, the couple engaged in a hasty plot to ensure Ellenore's safety, which ultimately resulted in Elle being Embraced by the Gangrel Ramona at Annabelle's request.

In the aftermath of this fateful choice, the two spent years apart, with Ellenore using her new Kindred abilities to hide out in the forests of Griffith Park. She and Annabelle communicated sparingly, and only through an elaborate code via a shared Spotify playlist.

Ellenore would eventually be reunited with her partner in 2021, though the sudden appearance of Adrian Clairmont made it a short-lived reunion. She escaped the Second Inquisition alongside Annabelle's sire Carver, and in the aftermath of the SI incursion would depart LA alongside Annabelle to New York.

Trivia[]

  • Ellenore was introduced as the player character of special guest Marisha Ray in LA by Night in S1E12: Find My Home. Ellenore only appears in one other episode: E5S4: Live on the Moon.
  • According to an early first draft of Storyteller Jason Carl's chronicle relationship map, Ellenore was one of Annabelle's Touchstones. According to V5's rules regarding Humanity, Ellenore's Embrace would have incurred at least two Stains. It's unknown if this resulted in any actual Humanity loss on Annabelle's part.
  • Ellenore is the only character in all of LA by Night who the audience meets both before and after becoming a vampire.
  • It is revealed in episode Live on the Moon that Annabelle sent Elle to Ramona for the embrace, rather than turning her herself.
