Elisheba bint Aliyyah is a Cappadocian of the Dark Ages, and the eldest childe of Aliyyah of Seville.

Biography[]

When Aliyyah first came to the Roman necropolis at Italica, she established a brood to assist in her research into death and the occult. Elisheba was the first childe that Aliyyah Embraced, and has proved to be the most loyal. Daughter of a Jewish Talmudic scholar, Elisheba was chosen for the Embrace as a scribe and assistant, nothing more. However, Elisheba proved to have a keen intelligence and proved capable of surprising insight. In time, Aliyyah found other assistants to relieve Elisheba of her menial duties.

Though some of Aliyyah's childer find her close supervision to be a trial, Elisheba enjoys her sire's company and the chance to devote herself almost entirely to her studies. She is all too aware of the tense political situation in Sevilla, and is happy to take advantage of Aliyyah's continued patronage to avoid the distasteful realm of politics herself. Occasionally, she will act as an agent or messenger on some errand for her sire, but for the most part, she is content to remain within the necropolis.
