Vampire: the Masquerade[]
Home to one of the Tremere Chantries tended to by Aisling Sturbridge during World War II.[1][2]
During the 1990s Magdeburg was one of the formerly GDR domains that was up for grabs after the Kindred who dwelt there before the German reunification had disappeared. Some of the riots reported there hid bands of anarchs fighting the agents of Camarilla, or even Sabbat, elders who would liked to secure this unclaimed territory.[3]
Wraith: the Oblivion[]
Because of its great destruction in the Skinlands the Dresden Shadowlands are plagued by large, ever-burning barrow-flame conflagrations.[4] Eternally consuming the ghosts of buildings and trees.[5]
During the late 1700s Johann Geistmann, a highly skilled lens grinder from Dresden, was challenged by a visitor from Leipzig to create glasses which allowed the wearer to see ghosts. The resultant "Geistmann Lenses" are rumored to do exactly that.[6]
It's believed that during WW2 the Hungarian serial killer Béla Kiss resided in Dresden. One of his victims has recently been unearthed there, her ghost has been haunting the area.[7]
