The heart of faerie magic rests in the Dominions. A Dominion, simply put, is a set of concepts related to a certain diurnal time period that sets boundaries on what fae magic can or cannot do. Depending on which Dominion the fae uses, she can cast focused magical spells, called cantrips, to perform all kinds of interesting feats or unleash their inherent magical power and trust on their luck. The four Dominions are Day, Night, Dawn and Dusk, and each is associated with a Court, respectively Summer, Winter, Spring and Autumn.
