Demon Chi is the power of the P'o, which a kuei-jin can access in order to use certain disciplines or enhance physical abilities. Demon chi is not actually a form of chi, but rather the raw power of the beastial lower soul. Tapping into one's demon chi carries certain risks, the most grave being a shift into fire soul (a state similar to frenzy) or shadow soul (when the P'o takes over completely). However, it also affords a kuei-jin many benefits, such as resistance to supernatural mind control. Demon Chi is utilized by Demon Shintai and other Demon Arts.
