Death is a set of Gifts granted to the Forsaken by death spirits or by spirits of animals associated with death, such as vultures, serpents, ravens, or jackals. They focus on the subtle manipulation of the border of this world and the next. The Gifts of Death are affinity to the Bone Shadows.

Death Sight: The Uratha is able to see ghosts and perceive the spiritual imprint left behind where something or someone died.- Ghost Knife: The werewolf imbues a weapon with Essence such that it can strike a ghost.
- Corpse Witness: This Gift permits an Uratha to compel a corpse to offer up the memories of what it has "seen" since its death.
- Word of Quiet: The use of the Word of Quiet is an unpleasant sensation to the living and, much more powerfully, compels the dead to rest again.
- Vengeance of the Slain: This Gift briefly returns a recently-deceased soul to its body.

- Cold Embrace (Cunning): With this Facet, the Uratha embraces the chill of the grave to still the beat of her heart. Her flesh grows cold. To all intents and purposes, she appears dead.
- Barghest (Glory): Merely being dead is not enough to save prey from the hunt.
- Memento Mori (Honor): Life is fleeting. Hold on tight to what matters right now, the burning ties of life and blood that make up the pack.
- Bone Gnaw (Purity): Crack the bone, east the marrow, and chew the splintered fragments down. There's power to be had there.
- Eyes Of The Dead (Wisdom): The last moments of life reflect in the eyes of the dead.
