Dark Medieval is the time period in which the Dark Ages line of the Classic World of Darkness is set.
Overview
The time frame of the Dark Medieval era extends as far back as the Viking invasions of the 9th century and as late as the outbreak of the Black Plague in the 14th century. In Vampire-specific terms, the Dark Medieval era encompasses the Long Night (as depicted in the setting of VtDA) and the War of Princes (as depicted in DA:V and DAV20).
