Background Information & Trivia[]
- This book marked on the back as part of the Werewolf line.
- This book also introduced Clan Bushi, presenting them as Cainite vampires native to Japan. This was later retconned with Kindred of the East, making Bushi and Gaki kuei-jin.
- In the Appendix: Clan Bushi section, the following is mentioned about Japanese shapeshifters:
- "They have been fighting a long war against both gaijin Garou and the Hengeyokai, the races of Japanese shapechangers. Among their enemies are the Kitsune (werefoxes) and the Neko (cat creatures)."
- Pages 124 and 125 are full page illustrations by Ron Spencer hinting that there might have been chapters on the Gurahl, Corax and on Wyrm enemies that didn't make it in.
- The book has a habit of over repeating this phrase for locations: "In the Gothic-Punk world".
- Roger Daly would be later referenced in the book, Technocracy: Syndicate and A World of Rage.
- Ads at the back of the book include: Wraith (Summer 1994), Mage (August 1993) and White Wolf Magazine (Join the Pack!).
