Dalgas are mechanical creations of the God-Machine that are used to construct its servants.
Overview[]
Dalgas resemble gigantic, metallic spiders with a distorted human face on their heads. Adult versions become too massive to move, so their limbs shrivel and become useless appendages.
Dalgas create servitors to the God-Machine, like Clockwork Men, by devouring brains. The more complex the devoured brain is, the more intelligent the servitor created. If a Dalga finds a brain particularly intriguing, it instead removes the person’s limbs and replaces them with clockwork fixtures. These servitors bring new brains to their creator, who then transforms these into new servitors.
Unlike Angels, Dalga are expendable. They will simply run on and on until they starve to death.
