DSEATC (short for Dimensional Science Evaluation, Administration, and Training Committee) was the former leadership of the Void Engineers, sometimes treated as their own Methodology.

Members of DSEATC specialized in the practice of Dimensional Science.

History[]

Little is known about DSEATC's membership and history, other than that the founder of the Convention itself, Tychoides, was a member of the board. During World War II, DSEATC funded the Chrononaut Initiative, and later censored many of their research for unknown reasons. Their traditional base was Uraniborg, a small station near the Copernicus Research Center.

Through the turmoil of the Dimensional Anomaly, the entirety of DSEATC was lost to the Convention. Internally, they were replaced by the Existential Threats Directorate (ETD), which has refocused the Convention from exploration to warfare.

Culture[]

Members of DSEATC were often ancient technomancers who willingly left their own studies behind to dedicate themselves to politics. Their main duty was to conceal some of the activities of the Void Engineers from the rest of the Union, deal with the N.W.O and the Syndicate to acquire funding, and keep internal conflicts low. To the rest of the Union, DSEATC presented a goofy façade of being too focused on their space exploration to involve themselves with matters on Earth.

Before the Anomaly, DSEATC was the only thing that kept the disparate and widespread co-op exploration teams of the Void Engineers together in a cohesive whole.
