Crocetta Giovanni was the Prince of Havana during the 1950s and 1960s. She was known for being the first Giovanni Prince in the Americas and the first female Giovanni prince to ever hold Praxis.

Biography[]

Not much is recorded regarding the legacy of Crocetta Giovanni. She ruled over the Cuban capital of Havana at the time of the Cuban Revolution as Prince. She ruled over many other Giovanni Kindred that had gained power in Cuba through their ties with the mafia, that were highly influential over the pre-revolution Batista dictatorship.

When the revolution began, the Giovanni power-base was upended. Many suspected that Castro and Che Guevara's rebellion was a front for a Brujah uprising against the status quo. With their sanctuaries unsafe and their influences in chaos, many Giovanni turned to the local Samedi for protection. Crocetta was one such Giovanni, whose continued Praxis relied entirely on Samedi support. Some believe that as payment, Crocetta and the other Cuban Giovanni taught the Samedi the secrets of Giovanni Necromancy. This was never proven, but the Giovanni that merely offered the Samedi money and power simply met their Final Death.

Eventually, Crocetta Giovanni fell out of favour with the Giovanni Anziani, possibly due to having spread their secret arts of controlling death itself. She met her Final Death in a very public and very messy fashion, although the details are lost to history.
