Malacar is an Unseelie Satyr Grump and former Seer to Duke Aeon.
Overview[]
Malacar once served as a Seer to Duke Aeon for many years but was never satisfied with his "minor" position. Pathologically jealous of the changeling nobility and ever lustful for power, he succumbed to the lure of certain Unseelie factions and betrayed the duke, resulting in his banishment from the court. He possesses an enchanted gem that now replaces his left eye. It is in fact the Keystone, and only the direst circumstances, such as a Geas, will induce him to part with it willingly.
He has two henchmen: the redcap Slique and an Unseelie Troll named Crak.
As from the events from the Immortal Eyes Trilogy 1: The Toybox novel, he has since been banished to the Kingdom of the Feathered Snake. By the Court of All Kings novel, he has joined Yrtalien's group and is also blinded by Yrtalien.

In is mortal seeming, Malacar appears as a disheveled old man with shoulder-length, greying hair and a scraggly beard. In fae mien, he has a more sinister appearance. A pair of horns protrude from his forehead and his left eye glows with an unnatural gleam. He often wears an eyepatch to conceal this disconcerting feature.) He still dresses in the worn finery that was once his court garb.

Malacar is a lecher, but his lusts transcend those of the typical "dirty old man." In his wilder years he was quite the rake, but the years have diminished his inherent carnality. Now, his true hunger is for power. Treachery has become his essence and influences every action he takes. He thinks nothing of lying, cheating, begging, cajoling, or bullying to get what he wants. He smiles, wheedles, intimidates, or connives as the situation demands.
