The Court of Rome is the cainite domain of the city of Rome, that held for centuries following the dissolution of the Eternal Senate.
During the Middle Ages, the Gerousia of Rome presided over the Ventrue across its sphere of influence, calling elders from all around when necessary.

History[]
During the Dark Ages, the entire local Gerousia had been summoned to Rome with an implied threat: to miss this particular assembly risked severe punishment. Ventrue elders sat along a raised platform in careful arrangement flanking Prince Andronikos, who sat in his throne at the head of the great chamber. In the meeting, the Gerousia condemned Octavius Malachi and had him brutally destroyed by Argent the Dreaded, for embracing Mararah without authorization. Some time later, a vengeful Mararah returned with a powerful new brood and threatened Andronikos' power, forcing the elder Prince to accept him.
