Cologne is a large industrial city in the west of Germany.
Vampire: the Masquerade[]
It was established by the Roman general and cainite Agrippa.[1] During the Renaissance Katherine of Montpellier briefly settled here. Where she dabbled in German politics, but mainly became interested in the new technologies of the era.[2] In the modern nights it's a Camarilla domain.
Residents[]
- Agrippa, former Roman governor
- Giselher, former Prince
- Giering, current Tremere Regent
- Nanette, a Tremere and childe of Giering[3]
Mage: the Ascension[]
Fraulein Kirchin of the Hollow Ones runs the Hohe Strasse Halfway House for Orphans in Cologne.[4]
Changeling: the Dreaming[]
The city was a battleground during the Five Years War. In 1972, from 20 to 27 September, it was besieged and subsequently fell to the commoners.[5]
Hunter: the Reckoning[]
The city is home to the Cologne Synod, a Lutheran hunter organisation. Originally a Cenaculum, who got caught up in the Reformation and defected from the Society of Leopold during the late 1500s. After a century of squabbling the Inquisitor-General of the time ordered the Society to quit its harassment of the Cologne Synod and get on with its business. They've reached an uneasy alliance, which as long as they have common enemies will likely last.[6]
