- New York, Oct 5, 1990: Robert Elliot, 29, was found dead today in his home, from what police say is a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head.
- Elliot was scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, as witnesses were to be heard in the ElectroBank case. Elliot stood accused of insider trading and is thought to have embezzled over 30 million dollars from the bank, only this last year.
- Howard Barclay, a senior partner at the bank & Elliot's mentor, says: "I am distraught. Though his actions at the bank have caused me to re-evaluate our friendship, I had hoped he would come to terms with his wrongdoings, and return to society a new, improved man."
