Memorable Quotes[]
"He doesn't," Lung Lei said. "At least I don't think that he does. I finally recalled why his inflamed eye seemed so familiar. There is an ancient Chinese ritual for possession that marks the possessed with a bloodshot eye." - Shadow of a Reflection of a Cat's Head, pg. 339
Trivia[]
In early 1995 print ads in White Wolf Magazine, this anthology was originally titled City of Darkness: Bloodshot.
The old title reflected a continuous plot point in most of the short stories in the anthology. Which was of mortals having bloodshot left eyes that were able to see supernatural creatures for what they were, predating Hunter: The Reckoning.
The 1994 Northridge earthquake is referenced in various short stories in the anthology.
