Chance is a Nuwisha who works with Zurie Betancourt and Martin Thorsson to steal from the Wyrm. He is also capable of masquerading as a particularly scrawny Garou, and has contacts among them.
When he learned that Magadon, Incorporated was targeting Martin for assassination, he took him to an island in the South Pacific and put him in an enchanted sleep for his own safety. He then planted the burned body of Dr. William Krejci at Martin's apartment, so both Magadon and Zurie would think Martin was dead.
Shortly after this, Chance persuaded Zurie to help him steal a rare specimen of naked mole rat from Magadon as revenge for Martin. He informed a pack of Garou that Magadon was experimenting on their Kinfolk, creating a distraction; he and Zurie slipped into the lab and hid the rat away in the Umbra. Afterwards, he revealed to Zurie that Martin was still alive and took her to him.
