Cenaculum , plural: cenacula, is a retreat house and base of operations for members of the Society of Leopold.

Overview[]

A Cenacle is a group of Inquisitors operating together. The word derives from the room in which Christ and His Disciples partook of the Last Supper. The original meaning of “dining room” is not lost upon older Kindred who relish the etymological irony, particularly when feasting upon an Inquisitor.

The Society of Leopold has cenacula in major cities around the world from which groups of Inquisitors (called cenacles) operate. The Order of St. Joan maintains its own cenacula around the world, which it calls convents. Other subdivisions of the Society, such as the Brethren of Albertus, may have a particular cenaculum as their base of operations.
