Carver is a nomadic Brujah agitator, sire of the famous Annabelle.

Biography[]

Not much of Carver's past is known, though according to him, as a mortal he and a friend would sometimes go out to the Manson Caves outside Los Angeles to drink and get high. He even went so far as to carve his name - or at least his current nom-de-plume - into the rock face of the subterranean depths. As a vampire, he still occasionally re-visits that same spot, having set up an makeshift haven within the Caves.

Carver is by all accounts fairly nomadic, drifting from city to city, doing "work for the Anarch State in general". It was one of these visits to Los Angeles that resulted in the impromptu Embrace of Annabelle Li, after she had unintentionally earned the ire of a local Nosferatu. His work would take him away from LA shortly after, but Carver would eventually return a few weeks later, attempting to take stock of the Thin-blooded populace of the City of Angels. After assisting his childe and her coterie with breaking up a drug operation run by a pair of Mercurians, Carver would vanish once again. More work to be done elsewhere.

The Brujah would re-appear in LA nearly two years later, just as suddenly as he had left. Making contact with the de-facto "leader" of the city's Thin-Bloods, Delilah, Carver offered to help her network with other Duskborn in other cities - in other countries even. His reasoning? A war was coming, and Carver saw it as his job to make sure everyone on his side was on equal footing.

This time, Carver stuck around long enough for Annabelle to catch up with him, and the two would eventually depart from LA together. More work evidently had to be done, this time in Gary, Indiana. Neither would return until 2021, just in time to be caught up in the Second Inquisition's surprise attack. Carver managed to make it out - alongside Annabelle's recently-Embraced girlfriend Ellenore - sending word of his childe's capture to her former coterie-mates before once again skipping town. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Description[]

Carver is the sire of Annabelle. He brought her into undeath after discovering her near-lifeless body immediately after Nick drained almost all her blood and left her for dead, but she broke out of his haven before he could educate her on her new existence. Carver then kept tabs on his progeny for weeks, introducing himself only when their mutual interest in some local Thinbloods coincided. He claims to be fighting the crushing grip the elders have placed on the world, by whatever means necessary. His current whereabouts are unknown.
