The Cacophony is the cultural vector that is used by the Kindred to communicate with each other. It has always lurked as a hollow echo to mortal culture, but saw its renaissance in the 1960s, growing alongside the counterculture of breathers.
Graffiti, bass rythms and the anonymity provided by the Internet allow the Kindred to communicate with each other without mortal interference. These symbols woven into the fabric of the nightlife of a city are plain to see, but only those who are Damned can read their significance, protecting the Masquerade from harm and yet allowing them to live their Requiem.
