During the Victorian Age, this domain was ruled by Camille Duchesne of Clan Ventrue. Together with two Primogen, the Brujah Guy de Burgundy and the Malkavian Ludmilla Van der Holst. Because of Van der Holst's (in actuality a Methuselah that resided there since before the earliest Gallo-Roman settlement) influence Brussels was at that time free of all Kindred conflict. Even Sabbat were welcome if they didn't violate the peace, and those that came did not.[1]
By the modern nights, the domain was the headquarters of the Consortium.[2] With Nikolaus Vermeulen, a Nosferatu serving as prince of Brussels. In VTES, the Nosferatu Prince of Brussels is Baron Dieudonne.

Until World War 1 the Anacreons of the Brussels Necropolis were generally good at managing the city through traditional Hierarchy law. Its central location within Western Europe making it an ideal way-station or safe haven during Maelstroms. During the Night of Short Chains, Brussels falls quickly in a well-planned and successfully executed coup. Resistance to the new regime was centered around the "Ghost of the Senne". A once prominent river that was forced underground and in that era provided Haunts to the conspirators. [3]
