In Vampire: The Requiem, the Bruja are a Gangrel bloodline suffering from the same weakness as every other Gangrel, going as far as drinking too much blood when some is at hand, rather than hunt with precaution every night.
The bloodline was founded at the end of the 1940s, when a Gangrel embraced the founder of the bloodline, a punk named Carlos "Hijo de Bruja" Saavedra.
They are ostensibly inspired by the Brujah from Vampire: The Masquerade.
