Berserker Armor is an uncommon Treasure of House Aesin worn only by those Aesin of the Berserker profession.
Overview[]

This ornate armor shields those who wear it from all attacks with weapons and allows them to fight beyond their regular capacity. The greatest secret of House Aesin is that the armor is vulnerable to magical attacks or those made with bare hands. Though powerful, the armor exacts a price. Once those in the armor are unleashed they are impossible to stop until they are dead or their side has won the battle. Also wearing the armor poisons the mind and the Warriors who do so become insane over time, moving through Bedlam until they disappear into the Dreaming. Only one such victim has ever been retrieved and restored to sanity and he never picked up a weapon again.
Effects[]
- Those wearing the armor gain an additional 5 levels of OK to their health levels.
- Each time the armor is put on the wearer must make a Wits roll (difficulty 7). If no successes are made, he looses a point of Wits and moves to the next stage of Bedlam. When his Wits drop to 1, he succumbs to Bedlam and disappears into the Dreaming.
