Barnabus is a sixth generation Assamite of the Vizier Caste, and sire of Ahmed ibn Zayyat. He Embraced Ahmed for sharing similar moderate religious views in the time of the religious crusades across the Levant. After training him in Tripoli, Lebanon, he sent his childe on a final test to steal a special artifact and slay its guards. Ahmed was transformed by this experience and became a devout Christian, and later the Prince of the city.
