August Delemont is the mysterious director of Special Projects for the Aesculapian Order.
Overview[]
Little is known about Delemont's past, though rumors abound. Delemont worked for Proteus Division until about 2108, but when he left, all files related to him were wiped; only Proteus director William Renton retains copies.[1] In 2114, Delemont arrived in Basel from an "undisclosed location in Eastern Europe," and was made director of Special Projects despite being a neutral.[2]
Delemont is close to Matthieu Zweidler but a mystery to the rest of the Order.[1] When the Huang-Marr Biorg Project was exposed, Zweidler trusted Delemont to handle the internal investigation.[3] However, Delemont seemed to act without Zweidler's knowledge when he arranged to have John Zsolt attacked and robbed.[4] Delemont also has an somewhat adversarial relationship with his former deputy, Dr. Roland Stolzfus, now the director of the Organ Banks, but the two rarely cross paths anymore.[1]
