The Asp Hole is a Los Angeles nightclub operated by Ash Rivers. It was "given" to Rivers by his sire, Isaac Abrams, to make up for the circumstances of Rivers' hasty embrace. Located in Hollywood, it has two floors; Ash can usually be found upstairs.
One of the patrons of the Asp Hole, the Hollywood Blood Doll, is open to seduction by Suckhead. Another is an Ash look-alike who frequently the club to take advantage of Rivers' celebrity.
Background Information[]
- The Asp Hole is obviously a play on the word "asshole," but it may also reference the Viper Room, the real-life club where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose. Ash Rivers has many traits in common with Phoenix.
- The club plays "Cain" by Tiamat and "Swamped" by Lacuna Coil (Tracks 3 and 4 on the VTM: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Soundtrack ).
- A repeating snake motif found throughout the bar is actually the AURYN from The Neverending Story.
