Arthaus was a subsidiary of White Wolf, founded in September, 1998 as part of a restructuring effort. Its goal was threefold: to support some of White Wolf's lower-selling games by applying many cost-saving techniques used by smaller press companies, to introduce North American audiences to fantastic games from foreign markets, and to experiment with new games and game systems.
Arthaus was eventually reabsorbed back into White Wolf on November 11, 2006 as part of the merger with CCP hf.
