Arjan Voorhies is the Ventrue Prince of Amsterdam during the modern nights. In the Victorian Age, he assisted his sire Johannes Castelein in his rulership of the city along the Ventrue Jan Pieterzoon and the Toreador Vincent.
He is part of the Consortium. He allied himself with Hendrik van Dyck to fight off the encroachment of the Beryn family. This earned him high esteem with the other Vampires in Amsterdam, but also gained him a powerful enemy in Lille Haake, the Tremere Primogen, who suspects van Dyck to be a Sabbat leader, and him having a hand in her sires death.
