Ariadne is a Sidhe noble of House Eiluned, presumably Seelie, and High Lord of the House.
Overview[]
More mysterious than the norm, even for House Eiluned, Ariadne is as much known for his penchant for cryptic responses as for his formidable talents for precognitive sorcery. His position as one of the Nine High Lords of the Fallen World, as well as in the Parliament of Dreams, grants him both a right and a responsibility to speak more freely among his peers than is usual for an Eiluned. Although he shares liberally what information he obtains through his mammoth network with the other High Lords, his quick wit and cunning have made him a thorn in the side of the more conservative members of the Parliament.
Rumors[]
It is said that High Lord Ariadne dreams in a chariot that exists only within the Dreaming. She is rumored to emerge only when the moon is full. The physical substance of the conveyance changes each month, and tales are told of the fell beasts of burden that draw it. Each month she retires for a full week to a place of secrecy where she gathers the knowledge assembled by her entourage.

You may have noticed the change in gender above. The Second Edition Rulebook claims Ariadne is female. Noblesse Oblige claims Ariadne is male. Which is true? With someone as mysterious as this High Lord who can say. Ariadne, though, is traditionally a woman's name.
