Andronikos is a powerful Ventrue and the Prince of Rome at some point during the Medieval period. He ruled the local Gerousia.

Biography[]

He is the oldest son of a long-dead Roman senator, possessing chiseled patrician features, an Aquiline nose, and a tongue born for the eloquence of a career politician. As courageous as he was licentious, he spent as much time on the battlefields as he did in pleasure houses — either of these adventures caused him the loss of an eye.

Fearing Octavius Malachi's growing power in Venice, he summoned the Roman Gerousia Ventrue to condemn Malachi for the illegal embrace of Mararah. Andronikos accused Malachi of living outside the precious Traditions and for this, he had Argent the Dreaded brutally torture and execute him, keeping only his head intact whilst the body was turned into ashes by the sun. He then exiled Mararah, who had seen the brutal execution.

Some time later, a vengeful Mararah returned and by infiltrating the Gerousia with his brood, was able to force Andronikos to accept him into the group.

Trivia[]

It is unclear in what period Andronikos was Prince of Rome, as Constantinus ruled during the Dark Ages until he was overthrown by the returning Camilla, the true ruler of Rome. Camilla is the Prince during the book's period, and they share the same sire Collat, but their descriptions don't match.
