Aidan is an Irish Brujah neonate and knight of the Dark Ages, and the childe of Brother Cornelius.
Biography[]
With Brother Cornelius sequestering himself in his studies immediately after finishing his lessons, Aidan reluctanly started to socialize with the Toreador, as his sire had no desire to test his martial prowess for most of their time.
After the fall of Carthage, the Carthaginian Brujah Zamra teamed up with Aidan, to retrieve some old letters from Carthage, specifically written by Zamra's sire, Malchus. In addition to the wide age gap of elder and neonate, they are near exact opposites: he is crafty and underhanded where Zamra is more forthright, and he was a European Crusader while Zamra is at least a practicing Muslim. They press each other's buttons just by existing, which inflames the Brujah temper in both of them.
They leave Nice to meet Aidan's sire, Brother Cornelius. When they find him, he is being attacked by the Baali Safirah and her ghoul minions. The Brujah warriors join the fight, and make quick work of the Baali servants whilst Zamra defeats Safirah by herself, while being taunted with old secrets by the Baali. Secrets about Malchus' affiliation with the Carthaginian Baali enrage Zamra and she destroys a staked Safirah. She then departs ways with Aidan and Cornelius to protect them from Baali pursuits, as she takes the old letters with her.
