Abandoned Hospital

The Abandoned Hospital is a hospital in the Downtown LA area that had been closed and abandoned for quite some time. The entrance was surrounded by chain link fencing, but the fencing had fallen into disrepair, leaving gaps which some of the area's homeless took advantage of to find shelter.

In late 2004, the hospital was used as a temporary haven for a Nagaraja named Pisha as she moved through the area in search of some artifacts, setting up shop in the hospital's basement morgue.

Unfortunately, that was also the time that a four-person crew from Haunted L.A. arrived to film a segment about a haunted hospital. None of them were seen again.

Background Information

• Nearly everyone in Bloodlines who gives side quests is someone the PC is likely to encounter as part of the main quest. For example, if the PC hasn't met Venus Dare, then Fat Larry will direct PCs to speak with her when they're done Traffik. However, there's no external indication that Pisha exists at all. The only way to find yourself on any of her quests is to find her.
• Although the path to get to Pisha is challenging, the way out is simple: one corner of her room contains a ceiling vent leading back to the main entrance. Once it's been accessed from the basement, it'll be unlocked and usable from the top-down if players visit Pisha again.
